WeTip is an anonymous, national crime tip program. Using the 800 hotline number, students, staff, and neighbors may anonymously report school crime. WeTip's mission is to protect children from crime and criminals.

A new law provides "return to play" guidelines for student athletes following a concussion.

Outbreaks of norovirus infection are more likely to occur during winter months within institutions such as residential facilities, hospitals, long-term care facilities, schools, and child care settings. The virus is easily spread from person-to-person through direct contact, contact with contaminated surfaces, and ingestion of contaminated food. This information is provided by Contra Costa County Communicable Disease Control to assist with the recognition and control of norovirus infections in schools and child care facilities.

A new school immunization law requires all students entering the 7th through the 12th grades in the 2011-2012 school year in California to be immunized with pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine booster called TDAP

DUAL LANGUAGE IMMERSION PROGRAM
WCCUSD's Dual Language Immersion programs prepare today's youngest learners to be tomorrow's leaders. Students in grades Kindergarten through 6th learn to think critically, compassionately, and creatively in both their native language and English.

FERPA gives parents certain rights with respect to their children's education records. These rights transfer to the student when he or she reaches the age of 18 or attends a school beyond the high school level. Students to whom the rights have transferred are "eligible students.
